CIO/OFT provides coordination between state and local government on technology issues. We also provide a variety of services to local governments.

Coordination

The Strategic Alliances Action Team, which is part of the CIO Council, is responsible for fostering intergovernmental collaboration and relationships between all levels of government. The Project Dashboard for Information Technology Projects with Local Impact was developed by the Strategic Alliances Action Team.

The New York State Local Government Information Technology Directors Association (NYSLGITDA) also works with CIO/OFT to coordinate state & local government technology issues.
